On July 14th, 2021, Tyler picked Gabby up from LAX airport for their very first date. He took her down a scenic drive along the PCH and through Malibu Canyon. Along the way, he stopped at a turn out to look at the beautiful view (oh, and the mountains too). They took some pictures during that magic golden hour and then continued to the rest of the date which was dinner at Topper’s Pizza and fun times at Dave & Busters.

It wasn’t long after then that Tyler knew that Gabby was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. As the next two years go by he formulates a proposal plan---a fake location scout for a non-existent short film! Then, the day comes. October 14th, 2023, with the help of their friends Conrad and Chelsea, Tyler takes Gabby, who still thinks it's just a location scout, and they retrace their steps and recreate the day of their first date. The final stop? The exact same spot they stopped at over 2 years ago. And while their friends secretly film, Tyler goes to Gabby shows her the photo of they took in the spot they were standing in, gives her heartfelt speech inspired by When Harry Met Sally (one of their favorite movies), drops to one knee, and proposes. And after the initial shock, Gabby said yes!
